Philip Rainsford – Accountant

As the Accountant at Riverside Court, I take pride in my role of billing the residents timeously but fairly, while keeping a close eye on company expenditure. Ensuring revenues as well expenses are in line with budget forecasts as designed in the business plan provide stability and confidence to all associated with Riverside Court, whether residents, staff or investors. Additionally, proper controls as well as effective reporting assists management in decision making, ensuring we continue to provide an efficient but affordable service to the most important assets we have, our residents.

Sheila Nason - Marketing Manager

I became part of the Riverside Court Team in February, 2008, a few weeks before we opened our doors to receive our first residents, who started arriving in March. With my extensive background in customer service and my love of working with people, being Marketing Manager is a dream come true for me. I enjoy meeting prospective residents and their families and appreciate the opportunity they give me to help them get through the ‘transition’ period as they get settled into their new home.

This is a very rewarding job and I am proud to be a part of the Riverside Court Management Team.

Sharon Cluff – Health Care Director

Hi! My name is Sharon Cluff. I was here at Riverside Court when we opened the doors to this beautiful facility. At that time I was the Full Time LPN and greeted the first resident to their new home. Before coming to Riverside Court, I was employed at Carleton Manor and Carleton Memorial Hospital gaining experience in geriatrics, cardiac care, medical and surgical areas.

Since joining this Team at Riverside Court, I have challenged myself to further my education in giving medication, footcare and Adult physical assessment plus attending any workshops that were offered to help me keep improving my skills.

Our Health care team is comprised of Licensed Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers and Health Care Aides. We have Health Care providers around the clock just in case you need any assistance – big or small. All our staff in the health field has their First Aid and emergency CPR and are very qualified in assisting anyone at any time and they are very compassionate and caring. They enjoy their job and do it well. We look forward to having you join our home away from home.

Blair Levesque – Food and Beverage Manager

Almost four years has past, since I have joined Riverside Court. I have received my Diploma in the Food and Beverage Management training, and then ventured to London, England to receive part of my Red Seal Journeymen at Thames Valley University.

It has been wonderful working with such a great TEAM of Managers and employees. Our residents are our main priority and what a pleasure it is to give the best possible dining experience while serving homemade and cultural flavored foods.

I look forward to many more years here at Riverside Court.

Melissa MacKenzie – Front Desk Manager

I was given the opportunity to join Riverside Court in November of 2008, and it has been my pleasure to work with the management team ever since. Upon arrival, it quickly became clear to me that it is the goal of management and staff to ensure that the residents are comfortable, well cared for, and have all of their needs and wishes met in a professional manner while assisting them in maintaining their independence.

It is my desire to continue in that tradition and provide the residents and their guests with the highest level of customer service possible. I have been in a management position in the past; however, never have I felt such a strong sense of purpose as I have working at Riverside Court. I look forward to seeing what each new day will bring.

James Grant – Maintenance Manager

I am a local boy who grew up on a family farm. Since then I have owned and operated a dairy farm and worked at different agriculture-related jobs. I started working at Riverside Court when it was still under construction. It is very rewarding to be part someone’s dream and to see a plan come together. I enjoy meeting and getting to know the residents and their families. It gives me great pleasure to be part of the Riverside Court Team.
